Calgary Interior Designer Gets a New Logo
Kimberly of Kimberly Sheppard Designs recently approached Elan Designs looking for a new logo design for her company. She’s about to go high profile as host of Remodel It (season 3) showing on Access CTV this September and wanted a fresh new look.
After a few interviews we came up with 4 logos we thought reflected her needs and the direction she wanted to take her company. She instantly fell in love with the one pictured at right and after a few tweaks the mission was accomplished.

ved in this wonderful field of design for around 30 years with humble beginnings designing kitchens and doing renovations in the Vancouver, Canada area. Over the years and with experience we evolved through the field of interior design and now, for the past 10 years, are planted firmly as Graphic Designer (Boyd) and Landscape Designer (Elan).
A Deer-Proof Courtyard for Bragg Creek Residence
Elan Designs has created this unique solution for a
Bragg Creek couple who wanted to enjoy some floral beauty outside their windows but found the curious (and hungry) local population a challenge.
The walls of the courtyard are fenced around with a 10’ high custom designed lattice (stay tuned for finished photos).
Two purposes were actually accomplished with this design because now there is also a place to sit or have guests mill about outdoors without fear of wildlife intrusion.
By combining our talents and employing some of the finest young arts graduates Calgary has to offer we can continually offer up fresh ideas to our clients. It’s an exciting collaboration that keeps us up on industry trends and makes us relevant in today’s marketplace.
